Remember Me

I have been prompted into this by a very talented lady in Atlanta Georgia - Natalie Hamade - who sent me a gorgeous book mark. Actually, she made it some time ago, then mislaid it. It was an even better surprise for the delay. As soon as I find out how, I will add a link to her blog.

The picture shown on the title is no longer with me. I took it to show an Italian friend earlier in the year. She liked it so much, I didn't have the heart to say I just took it to show her what I was working on. Anyway, it has gone to a good home. It shows the view from my cottage.

PS to Birthday Celebration

Sorry, forgot to mention that the photos posted last time were by Ann Beer. I have added another to show the pieces worked on the day, plus mine now that it is disolved.

Birthday Celebration

To celebrate a significant birthday, a few friends and I sent the day having a workshop with Jan Beaney. We stitched a piece each entitled: Small and Precious plus had a bring and share lunch. We didn't finish the pieces but everyone has promised me they will and will show me them!

Finding Your Voice

I am amazed that I started this nearly a year ago and have not added any posts! Suffice to say that we have been very busy with courses:

Finding Your Voice 1 has completed it's first year and is now continuing as a master class every 2 months.

Finding Your Voice 2 started just before Christmas - again in Tadley PLUS we are running another version at Norwich.

Elizabeth Sayers decided to concentrate on her work and is no longer teaching with us.

We have also had a number of exhibitions: Petworth House, Hampshire Open Studios, Sunbury and the National Needlework Archive at Greenham Common. On 13/ 14th March I am at the Contemporary Textiles Fair in Teddington for the first time, so fingers crossed.

In May, I will take part (with Gill Banks) in West Berkshire Open Studios and later in the year (October) in the Ashford Hill Church Harvest Festival.

One day I will work out how to add photos, but, meanwhile, please check out:
www.frayededges.co.uk and

www.suecrook.com (though my son has yet to finish it completely).

Thanks for visiting.
