Finding Your Voice

Finding your Voice (FYV) is a course that I run with my friends from Frayed Edges:
Gill Banks
Ticia Lever and
Elizabeth Sayers

We take a maximum of 8 students at a time and it is for people who have followed a number of courses/ workshops in the past - possibly City and Guild Embroidery or something similar- who feel that they now want to do their own thing.
However, they may not know where to start. We aim to help them in this. There are no set modules, no themed pieces of work. Students chose their own topics and develop their own work. We offer support and tutorials. The sessions are every 6 weeks and, in between, students work independently. Our first course, which started in January 2009, is full. We aim to start another (for which we already have 4 students) mid year.
